Our aim is to find the best homes possible for dogs who have been neglected, abused, injured or surrendered for euthanization.

Mission

A Voice4Paws Canine Rescue Society is a not-for-profit, all-breed, no-kill rescue organization with foster homes located throughout Metro Vancouver, BC, Canada.

We are a BC Registered Non-Profit Society with a small group of dedicated volunteers. Our focus is on

  • rescuing and rehabilitating homeless, at-risk and injured dogs
  • assisting low-income dog and cat guardians
  • educating the public on responsible dog guardianship

A Voice4Paws does not have a facility or shelter to house our rescues. We are 100% reliant on volunteer foster homes to care for and evaluate our dogs as they transition to their forever homes. For more information on becoming a foster parent(s) please visit Fostering.

Philosophy

Through proper vetting and training, we set up our dogs and their new families for success. Each dog that comes into rescue is evaluated and a long-term plan is put in place for their health and overall well-being.

We generally do not adopt our dogs out right away. A foster-to-adopt period is required to ensure that the match is ideal for the dog and the new adoptive guardian(s).
